A band whose music covers a wide variety of styles, from the 50’s and 60’s rock and roll and country through to pop. Shindig are a three piece band featuring Peter Brown on guitar and vocals, David Lee-Jay on drums and vocals, and Rex Harris on bass and vocals. Shindig feature songs made famous by such artists as Elvis, Buddy Holly, The Beatles, Creedence Clearwater Revival, The Eagles, Dire Straits and many more.
Their extensive repertoire covers all types of music – from ballads and country to rock and roll, and also features some of the great guitar instrumentals of the 60’s. Fast gaining a reputation for their excellent vocal harmonies, and musicianship, Shindig are very much in demand throughout Queensland and New South Wales. They are regular performers at the Wintersun Festival, and at many other festivals and events around Australia. Whatever your requirements, dinner music through to party music, Shindig can cater for all ages and tastes.
If you would like something a little different for your function – Shindig can also provide an evenings entertainment taking you back to the 60’s Flower Power era. Dressed in costume, playing the music from that era, complete with a go-go dancer if required.
